About Jeannette

Jeannette is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner committed to improving the quality of people’s lives through holistic health care. By combining the best of east and west, modern and traditional, conventional and alternative, Jeannette provides a comprehensive approach to wellness.

In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, Jeannette offers nutrition and lifestyle counseling in order to help individuals achieve vibrant health. She enjoys supporting individuals in maintaining their optimal health and well-being, and understands that each person’s journey to health is unique.

Jeannette has been studying nutrition and health since 1995. She graduated from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California with a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and she is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board to practice acupuncture. She has been designated a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition to clinical study in California, she studied at the ZheJiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. She furthered her study of nutrition with the Nutritional Therapy Association whose program is based on the works of Dr. Weston Price, Dr. Francis Pottenger, and others. She continues to develop her skills through courses in the Japanese Meridian Therapy style of acupuncture (which emphasizes gentle needling techniques) and Functional Medicine. She serves the San Jose, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Campbell, and Cupertino communities from her office in West San Jose.
